Becoming a Member of AAUW

Membership in AAUW is open to anyone with a bachelor’s or higher degree as well as to those with an an associate or equivalent degree from an accredited college or university. Student affiliate memberships for undergraduates are also available. AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership with no barriers to full participation on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability.

Go the section that indicates “Join and Renew Online” (in the left pane). You will need your membership ID and your password if you have previously set-up your log-in information or set it in the process.

Membership dues of $69 cover Association, state, and branch dues. For a Shape the Future member joining for the first time, the half price on national dues is still available, so the total dues for new Shape the Future members will be $44.00. A new program for UM students makes  e-student affiliate memberships available free of charge to UM students, since the University of Montevallo is a College/University Partner with AAUW.
